ISABEL MARANT
The event explores the poetic gesture of bringing memories from nature back into the urban environment: a
symbolic “omiage” from the countrysie, carried into the city.
Rooted in the idea of memory, displacement, and emotional residue, the experience is shaped around tactile
materials, textures, and atmospheres that evoke the slowness of summer, its silences, warmth, and temporal
softness, now reframed within a metropolitan context.
The dinner becomes a curated landscape of decontextualized fragments: natural, raw elements once belonging to
an open, wild setting are gently transplanted into the city, reinterpreted through objects, recipes, and atmospheres.
The concept draws from the idea of the souvenir not just as an object, but as a carrier of emotional meaning.
Something personal, layered, and intimate.

Inspired by the Zen Ensō—a single brushstroke that embodies unity, flow, and the quiet discipline of presence—the experience pays tribute to Japanese restraint and to the AMEX business leaders community who thrive within this philosophy.
Stillness becomes strength. Minimalism becomes meaning. Every element, from the radial forms of the tables to the ambient movement within the space, is choreographed to allow connection to unfold naturally and quietly.
The Ensō holds many layers of significance. It expresses emptiness and wholeness at once, representing both the absence of form and the completeness of all things. It conveys enlightenment and unity, symbolising harmony, infinity, and spiritual clarity. Because it is drawn in a single, uncorrected gesture, it captures the exact state of mind of the one who paints it, becoming a moment suspended in time. And it celebrates imperfection as beauty: sometimes the circle is closed, sometimes left open, revealing that completeness does not require perfection, and that the unfinished is also part of life.
